Deploying project changes

  • Navigate to "Deploy" tab. You will see changes ready to deploy "!". Click "Deploy".
  • You can change deployment options by selecting UI Required, Forced, or Silent.
    • UI Required:The next time the device checks-in, if there is a pending download, the user will have to agree before the download begins. The user also has the option to pause the update at anytime.
    • Forced: The next time the device checks-in, the update UI will appear but the user will not have the option to pause or stop the update.
    • Silent: The next time the device checks-in, the update UI will not appear. If the user launches the Management app from the app launcher or if the app was already opened, the UI will appear but the user will not have the option to pause or stop the update. If an application is kiosked, this check-in will happen in the background unless the user clicks 'Check for Updates.
  • When deploy is finished, it should look like example below.
    • These changes will appear on the devices assigned to the project.
    • Any changes made to a project will need to be deployed again in order to take effect.
